Assessment Prior to Admission Into The Program

Individual Treatment Sessions

Please see below the costs of individual treatment sessions. Treatment plans will be individually designed for each participant on bail, and will include all or a combination of the following

Case Management Plan

  • This option provides a detailed assessment tailored to the client’s circumstances. It includes:
  • Sessions: 12 total
  • Cost: $120 per session

One-on-One Psychoeducation Sessions

  • The number of sessions is a reflection of the difficulty individuals experience when they start their journey of recovery and will include assessment for depression, anxiety, etc.
  • Sessions: 12 total
  • Cost: $120 per session

Individual Sessions

  • Outcome measures will be used to ascertain progress and remaining areas of need.
  • Conducted by psychologist
  • Sessions: 2-3 sessions per month
  • Cost: $220 per session

Program Conditions

  • Urinalysis Testing: Cost covered by individual. Results to be sent to Court Report Central.
  • All individuals must sign to confirm that they are aware the court will be contacted if they do not follow the program, fail to attend/participate in sessions, or fail urinalysis.

Please Note: Psychological sessions are eligible for a Medicare rebate, while counselling sessions are not. Rebate eligibility for some sessions will apply once the client has obtained a mental health care plan. Treatment sessions are not bulk billed. Following completion of the program, the individual can obtain a treatment report. The price of the report is to be discussed with the treating psychologist.

Our clinic provides professional reports to assist individuals seeking bail. These reports are prepared with care to ensure the court has relevant, evidence-based information.

Comprehensive Bail Report

This option provides a detailed assessment tailored to the client’s circumstances. It includes:
  • A full clinical assessment of the client.
  • An interview conducted via AVL (Audio-Visual Link) or in person.
  • A comprehensive written report addressing the client’s background, current circumstances, and treatment recommendations to support the bail application.

Pro Forma Treatment Report

This report is prepared without interviewing the client. Instead, it is based on existing
documentation, which may include:
  • Court attendance notice.
  • Police fact sheets.
  • The client’s criminal history.

This option provides a shorter, treatment-focused report at a lower cost.

Please Note: This service is available in limited capacity, as pro forma reports are generally less effective in supporting bail applications compared to comprehensive assessments.

Sentencing Reports

The report is informed by a review of relevant documentation, including:

Sentencing reports can be prepared by psychologists through Court Report Central or our sister company, Mindways Psychological Services. The fees for sentencing reports are as follows:

  • District Court matter – $2,750
  • Murder/ Sex offence matter (District or Supreme Court) – $3,750
  • Local Court matter – $2,200 -$2,420
  • Sex offence matter (Local Court) – $2,750

For reports funded under Legal Aid. District court reports will be completed by Ann Marie De Santa Brigida or Susan Homeh Hawil. Local Court reports can be prepared by a number of our psychologists.
